Family time with Mommy's side

After the pumpkin patch we headed over to my Mom's house to visit Brock and Jessie before they moved off to NYC. I'm so glad we got to spend time with them before they left! Here are a couple of pictures I took before we had to say "goodbye" :(

The next day we hung out with Aunt Ralie. We love seeing her!!!

The next day we had a fun visit with Great Grammy and Gramps, and Paw Paw and Maw Maw Underwood. Layla even got to do a pumpkin!

Silly girl!

Visiting Maw Maw at work

Getting SPOILED!

And here is a hilarious video of my child screaming at the top of her lungs in Walgreens. She was telling one of the Halloween items to "get down NOW". Apparently she doesn't like things where she can't reach them.

We really miss Kreckles and were so glad that Paw Paw and Maw Maw treated us to lunch!

Cousinly love

When Layla was born, her cousin Grayden was obsessed with her. I always felt bad because she obviously didn't share that infatuation as a newborn. Now that she's older, it is so fun to watch them play together. Although I don't think Layla is the love of Grayden's life anymore, these two definitely have a special cousin bond. I can't wait until Addelyn (G's sis) is old enough to start playing too! Oh the trouble these three will get into! ;o)

Splish splash! Two cousins in a bath!

They wanted to hold hands and get dried off.

Addelyn's turn

The kids took turns jumping off of the stairs. Here is Super Grayden

And here's Layla. LOL

Dancing is one of their favorite things to do together.

Here is a video of the dancing King and Queen.

They love this baby toy. Layla kept trying to scoot it closer and closer to her. LOL

Addelyn was ready to get in on the action

Cleaning Maw Maw's floor. They love to help!

The Great Pumpkin Patch

I was SO happy we got to visit the Pumpkin Patch this year. It has changed so much since I visited last...I really can't remember the last time we went to this one. Layla had a blast and I can't wait to go back next year!

Catching a ride on Paw Paw's shoulders

Grandma and Grandpa with the kids

She really didn't want to stand against this thing...

The kiddy maze! These guys were so good at it and they had a blast!

Layla loved to just follow Grayden around at first

We made it! Time for another trip back in the maze...

Here is a video of the maze

The go all out with the decor

We found some new friends

A pumpkin house

Chasing Layla in the tall grass

I don't know why Layla feels the need to stick her head through things...I fear for the day a 911 call is going to be made because she gets stuck. LOL

 Chasing Grayden

The big kid maze. It was SO hard to keep track of the kids in here!

This just cracks me up

A fun barn

Miss Addelyn had fun too!

Apparently this pumpkin patch decorated the White House last year...very cool! I'd like to do that outside my house someday haha

Hmmmm...so many to choose from!

Literally she picked the ugliest pumpkin she could find. But we love it anyway! haha

Weekend with family

I would fight anyone (and win of course) for the "we have the best family in the world" title. Between Bryan's family and mine, we have what seems like 1,000 people that we love to death.

Although 99.9% of my family lives in town (Brock and Jessie ruined it by moving to NYC lol), Bryan's family is spread throughout IL. Last weekend everyone made the drive to Decatur to visit and we are SO thankful! It was so nice to see everyone and get to hang out for the day. We really cherish our time with them since our visits are so few and far between now.

I took so many pictures…but these are some of our favorites!

Hanging out on the hammock. Uncle Chris was just getting ready to take a dive here.

Dash, Grayden and Layla (cousins). Looks like they are planning something very fishy...

Layla and Dash. Dash is such a cool big cousin...the kids LOVE him!

Dash flying the kids around in his airplane.  He told me that he put Layla in his lap so her pants wouldn't get dirty. That kid just melts my heart. I asked him to move in with us but he wouldn't...LOL

Layla with her Great Grandma Mary

So cute!

Great job on this family pic Chris!!!!

The girls

I love this pic for 2 reasons. #1- It's Aunt Ash and #2- the curls!!

The kids outside of Grandma and Grandpa Bartons. They were SO good for pictures...I couldn't believe it! Don't let those smiles (and Layla's smirk) fool you...haha
