Our family Christmas

This is the 2nd New Year's Eve in a row that we could have cared less about the New Year. Two years ago we brought Layla home and slept in the living room because I couldn't go up our stairs. Last year and this year we were just getting home from IL and putting together all our new toys.

Bryan and I have made a special deal with Santa. He comes to our house on New Year's Eve so Layla can enjoy Christmas at home with us when we get back from IL. In exchange we have told him he can borrow Oscar and Moose anytime he needs help with pulling the sleigh. ;o) He hasn't taken us up on our offer yet, but he keeps his end of the deal.

She literally went right up to the presents and started opening!  Good thing we had the camera ready

She is obsessed with these sunglasses. Apparently she needed to wear them to finish opening presents.

She got a vet kit...watch out Oscar and Moose!

The vanity was actually her birthday present from us this year. She absolutely LOVES it!! She went right up and started doing her makeup and blow drying her hair.

We might need to work on how to apply lipstick. It went right to the nose...

Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, and Happy New Year Layla! Words can not describe how much Mommy and Daddy love you. You are the best part of life and I can't wait to see what 2012 brings for our family.
